If you're anything like me, you hate giving excuses even more than receiving them. But at times, I've still made them and chances are you have too. At the very least, it's likely you know someone, maybe a family member, a friend, or a co-worker, that makes excuses on a regular basis. If we stop and look at the folks who regularly make excuses, we'll likely begin to see a pattern emerge.
You see, excuses hold us back from living our very best life. They weigh us down and don't allow us to put our best foot forward and to be as successful as we're meant to be. Because we're ALL meant to be successful, it's just that some of us struggle with living up to our full potential.
If you've said any of the following statements out loud or even if you just repeat them to yourself, then you're holding yourself back from a fuller life that you desire and deserve.
1. I'm too old.
2. I'm too busy.
3. I never learned how.
4. It's too hard.
5. I'm not good with change.
6. I had my chance.
7. I'm afraid of what others might think or say
8. I don't know where to get started.
9. I don't know the right people.
10. I've never done it before.
11. Other people have all the luck
12. There are too many obstacles in the way.
13. There's not enough to go around.
When I began to realize the power of the Law of Attraction and how I was solely responsible for the life I created, I understood how my excuses were holding me back from the future I wanted. I made the decision to no longer allow these types of excuses to affect my outcome.
