How to Use the Law of Attraction to Find Your Life's Purpose


Have you ever felt like finding your purpose in life seems more elusive than the Loch Ness Monster? So many of us are searching for our calling, but for whatever reason, a lot of people find it difficult to discover what it is.

Sadly, we often stand in our own way - opportunity comes knocking, but we don't open the door.

So many of us think we need to have the next five steps planned and guaranteed before we can take the first step toward the rest of our lives.

Can you imagine if you went over to a friend's house for dinner, but they refused to let you in until you explained each thing you were going to do while you were there? Details like which foods you'd eat, how many drinks you'd have, if you were going to jump in the pool, and whether or not you'd enjoy the new mix of music playing on their iPod.

Sometimes we need to get out of our own way and invite purpose to come find us.

Try these 4 law of attraction tips to open the door to something new.

LOA Tip 1. Focus on your goal

We, as a society, are often busy. We can get stressed at work, at home, or in our day-to-day lives, which is more than enough to keep our mind occupied. And, all too often, we let it occupy us 100%. We get caught up in our overloaded task list for the day and lose sight of the real goal.

Take some time each day to focus all of your energy on the positive goal you want to achieve. Just the act of bringing focus and clarity to your desires will help clear the path of negativity. It's almost always easier to focus on what we want removed from our lives, but until we can focus on what we want added, nothing new will appear.

LOA Tip 2. Relax

In order to truly focus on a goal, we need to be able to relax. When we become agitated or find ourselves in a stressful state, our brain is not as good at focusing - it's too busy trying to survive and protect us from any surrounding dangers.

There are countless ways to relax: meditation, deep breathing, isolation, or even exercise. Find whatever it is that works for you and get into a relaxed state. Once you're able to find this inner peace, it'll be easier for clarity to find its way.

LOA Tip 3. Write it down

Taking our ideas and putting them into action isn't always an easy process. If we don't set aside time to figure out what we want, our mind can become cluttered with concepts that never actually come to fruition.

The simple act of writing down our thoughts, forces us to recognize what we spend our time and energy on. Once we have a better understanding of that, we can begin to tie our thoughts to different feelings and emotions. And it will become easier and easier to really focus in on what we want our future to look like.

LOA Tip 4. Use hypnosis

Even when we try different techniques, sometimes no matter what we do, it can still feel like we just can't get out of our own way. In order for the law of attraction to work, it's important to open up our minds and let our subconscious shine through.

Hypnosis can be a very powerful tool for quieting the noise of the conscious mind. Hypnosis can act like the sun on a foggy morning, it shines through and then lifts off the haze so we can see more clearly, and move more quickly and safely.
