So take a little time for yourself to get some R&R to really start 2019 off with the right mindset -

Here are 4 quick ways you can get started... try to do AT LEAST one of them today:

Tip #1: Ask for Help from Others
Whether you've been doing all of the caregiving, planning, cooking, shopping, wrapping and everything in between, or others are already pitching in, if you're feeling overwhelmed, don't be afraid to ask for help.

Christmas is a time for giving and you might be surprised with how willing those around you are to lend a helping hand or how you could actually support those around you.

Think about local companies that specialize in what you need, a lot of them could use the extra business this time of year. Or maybe you could treat your niece, or nephew or a kid in the neighborhood to hot cocoa if they'll help you out by wrapping gifts! Get creative :)

Tip #2: Connect with Nature
I can't believe that I've been back in Sydney for almost a whole month now, time is really flying by. And while it's been great spending time with family and friends (most of whom I haven't seen in far too long - I love you all!), I've also taken time to enjoy the warm weather and hit up the beaches while I'm here :)

Perhaps if you're in a colder climate, especially a secluded place with a blanket of beautiful snow covering the landscape, bundle up and go for a nice walk by yourself. Breathe in the crisp air and connect to the stillness of nature.

Tip #3: Unwind with Something You Enjoy
Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and curl up with a good book or relax while watching your favorite holiday movie. Watch the snow fall while you stay toasty warm by the fire or look for a group you could join to go caroling. Here in Sydney, I LOVE going to the outdoor cinema with wine and cheese and a good group of friends.

It really doesn't matter what the activity is, as long as it leaves you feeling happy, at peace and in a positive vibration!
