Mind Movies co-founder and Law of Attraction guru Natalie Ledwell announced today the release of the latest episode of her online TV show, The Inspiration Show. The episode features an interview with Gillian Larson, the 65-year old retired nurse and grandmother who starred as a contestant on the TV show ‘Survivor: Gabon’ in 2008.

In the short 15-minute episode, Larson described how she used the Law of Attraction to manifest love and a spot on the popular TV series.

Born in South Africa, Larson shared that she was always clear that she would attract a loving partner and family into her life. “From the time I was younger I always said that I will have a good husband and a wonderful family. It was never ‘if.’ I’ve never used the word ‘if.’ And it happened. I have the most wonderful husband, three daughters and six grandchildren,” said Larson.

While backpacking through Europe in 1969, Larson met her future husband, an American, at a beer hall in Germany. After marrying, she moved to the United States and began her 41-year-long career as a nurse.

“Then in 1999, I heard that there was going to be a new TV show called ‘Survivor.’ It was the strangest thing,” said Larson, who said to herself and her husband “I am going to get on that show.”

Over the next eight years, Larson continuously applied to be on the show and finally landed a spot in 2008. She has since used her celebrity status to launch a career as a motivational speaker, giving over 350 talks on the Law of Attraction and the power of believing in yourself and your dreams.

Larson also founded Reality Rally, a three-day fundraising event held each year in Temecula, California. Reality Rally brings together roughly 100 reality stars from 30 different TV shows for the public to meet, with the proceeds going to Michelle’s Place, a nonprofit breast cancer resource center.

Larson believes strongly that the Law of Attraction is the secret to success. “If you absolutely believe you will, you will attract what you want into your life,” she told The Inspiration Show host, Natalie Ledwell. “What you will ask for is what you will get, and anyone can do it.”

The only thing Larson regrets is not being more specific about wanting to win Survivor. “I should have said ‘I will get on Survivor one day and I will win.’ You’ve got to be specific about your goals.”
