Despite the fact that at least half of all marriages end in divorce these days, young people are still surprisingly optimistic when it comes to settling down for life with a perfect partner.
Recently reported by RawStory.com, the Clark University Poll of Emerging Adults found that out of 1,029 single and married young people they polled, 86 percent say they still expect marriage to last for life.
According to Law of Attraction guru Natalie Ledwell, approaching dating and relationships with the positive mindset that you can and will find a partner who will commit to marriage and be willing to grow with you over the course of a lifetime is crucial to relationship success.
"If you want to attract a perfect partner to you that shares the same values that you have around wanting to commit and be married for life, believing that this person is out there waiting for you is crucial," says Ledwell.
