Whether it's dozing off in a classroom, wishing you were somewhere else, or staring blankly at your computer screen at work… your mind is constantly wandering into the past or future.
Daydreams come to us at all times.
Most people, however, don't realize the power of their daydreams.
The simple act of seeing things with your mind's eye, and feeling the emotions of those visuals, desires and aspirations, produces a remarkable effect in the human brain.
Law of Attraction experts call it the act of visualization.
Visualization is one of the most powerful techniques you can apply into your life to manifest your desires and reach your goals.
This is the reason why so many people swear by vision boards (or dream boards), and why you should too!
Creating a vision board is a remarkably effective way to gain clarity on what you really want, and focus your intentions on achieving those desires.
Especially if you:
- Struggle at following through
- Have many goals and dreams but you’re not sure where to start or how to take action on them
- Want to get out of your comfort zone
- Feel surrounded by people who are constantly bringing you down
- Need clarity of what you really want in life
- Want to align yourself with the positive energy of the Universe or Divine
So how do you make a vision board that really works?
Vision boards are collages of inspiring images that represent your dreams.
“Your brain will work tirelessly to achieve the statements you give your subconscious mind. And when those statements are the affirmations and images of your goals, you are destined to achieve them!“ ~ Jack Canfield
You can include all your goals you have in every area of your life, such as: relationships, career, health, spirituality, travel, finances, love, education, giving back, etc. - but do try to be as selective as possible.
Or you can simply create a different board for the most important areas, and keep each vision board in a different place.
You may want to keep your business/career vision board at your desk or office. And your love/romance vision board in your bedroom.
Insider Tip: For more effective results, rather than focusing on what you want, focus on how you’re going to feel when you get it.
For example, let’s say you’ve been dreaming about a red convertible Mercedes.
First, find a picture matching exactly the car you want. Now, every time you look at your dream board, imagine yourself feeling the wind on your face as you drive it, and the sense of freedom or adventure you get from driving it, rather than just the attributes of the car itself.
Adding emotion to your vision board images makes it 100x more effective in bringing your desires to life.
Select affirmations, quotes, symbols, and words that inspire you and remind you of who you want to become.
And if you’d like to take it a step further, there are digital vision boards too, like our very own Mind Movies software - which allows you to create a living, breathing, animated vision board with your own images, affirmations and music.
There are also other apps and sites like Pinterest that lets you create free vision boards. Whatever type of vision board you choose, you'll find it to be an incredibly powerful tool for helping you get the Law of Attraction on your side, and creating the outcomes you want in life.
Now speaking of the Law of Attraction…
So many people struggle to consistently keep their vibrations up and manifest the things they want. In fact, some even wonder if the Law of Attraction is real.
As someone who's been studying and teaching the Law for over a decade, let me assure you it's very real - and it's actually surprisingly easy to work with, once you know how.
That's why I've created the Law of Attraction 101 system (or LOA 101 as our students like to call it).
LOA 101 is an easy-to-follow 7-step process that demystifies the Law and gets it working for you - no matter what may have held you back in the past.
Try it out and let's turn you into an unstoppable force of manifesting nature :-)
